Prototype in testing
We are developing an AI math tutor that connects handwriting, feedback and learning records, with explanations that follow the way each student was taught.
A math learning app for elementary through high school
Our aim is to connect the structured explanations of video lessons, the interaction of AI tutoring and the individual guidance of private tutoring. We are working toward a learning experience that uses a consistent teaching approach across lessons, explanations and hints.
Our prototype is being tested with a small group of users. Its current features connect handwriting, teacher feedback, grading and learning records.

Teachers can view student handwriting in real time in the management app.
Handwritten feedback added by a teacher appears in the student app in real time, too.

A local LLM on our own server automatically grades answers and solution steps.
Learning records include time spent solving problems. Automated grades need teacher review; their accuracy is not guaranteed.

Planned development
We want the methods taught in lessons to carry through to worksheets, workbooks and hints when needed. Our planned flow offers step-by-step help when a student asks, supporting them as they work toward solving a problem on their own.
AI lessons aligned with our teaching approach
Put what was taught into practice
Step-by-step help when a student asks
Support students in working it out themselves
This flow is a development plan. The full AI tutoring experience is not yet complete, and its learning outcomes have not been validated.
Here is the scope of the implemented prototype, alongside the features we plan to develop.
Implemented
Current automated grading uses a local LLM on our own server. It is separate from our planned Claude API tutoring. We do not guarantee grading accuracy or that it can be used without teacher review.
Planned development
The management app used by staff and teachers is an internal operations tool. It is not a collaboration service offered for external sale.
Coupdetat Math is a three-person team in Busan, South Korea, bringing math education experience into a product. The project began in May 2026 and is still in development, before business registration.
